Camper tie downs

I used 8' 1.5" square tube with 3/16" wall. It bowed a bit inside the frame tubes but holds well at highway speeds. 1/4" wall may help but would be heavier. I will cut and cap them later. I may add an aluminum plate to act as a seat for changing boots and such for hunting and to aid in tucking in the camper walls. The clearance is tight but works out well. The front frame tube is indented on the bottom for clearance for the muffler so 2" was not an option.
