Went out this late afternoon/evening to try my hand at some eyes .. After being somewhat slow in the river.. I received a waypoint from a good friend of mine that was fishing for Smallies this past week...says he was catching walleye there .. So I figured I'd give it a whirl..
Planner boards and inline... 17 back and 27 back on a 1oz and 35 back on a 1/2oz .. Nightcrawler harnesses Chart beads and chrome blade and also pink panties blade and pink and white beads. My speeds were between 1.5mph 2.2mph .. 15-18FOW
Don't give up on the lake yet boys.. Lots of fish being marked ...anywhere from 8ft-12ft down in about 18FOW .. Good luck if ya go out! It's only going to get better.
