A friend reported while preparing for his grandfather's funeral last week they were informed the 21 gun salute is banned in public cemetery's. I believe he said the service was in Clinton county Michigan. Anyone know anything about this ban and who initiated it?
My friend's grandfather was a WWII veteran...and was denied the honor of the time honored 21 gun salute. Sure would like to expose who is behind this.
