Deep water set up?

I don't have a lot of experience deep water fishing, but we are going to give it a try. I ran across a bunch of used equipment for a great price.

3 Okuma Classic Pro rods (8'6")
3 Okuma Magda MA 30 D with line counters

3 Quantum XL by Zebco QXLC 860 DR (8'-6")
2 Daiwa Sealine Great Lakes 47 LC with line counters
1 Shakespere Tidewater 30 LC with line counter

1 Heartland Down rigger rod (10'-6")
1 Shakespere Tidewater 50 LA

Also picked up about 75 spoons, a few flashers, some dipsy diver, snubbers, swivels, and the tackle boxes it was all stored in.

Most of the fishing will be on Torch Lake. Anyone have any advice one different line setups. Nothing has been used in about three years. Thanks!
