lack of access downriver

is it just me or is there a serious lack of river access downriver. i fish the saginaw river also and there are boat launches every couple miles. many are city lauches that are free and dont close at dark. if you want to fish after dark mid river the only public launch i know of is elizabeth park. thats quite a run in the dark to mid river. i dont mind paying at all for a nice launch but one cant be found mid river that stays open. i feel for the guys that work hard for a living that want to fish after work. they are very limited. the launches that close should only charge them half price for the amount of time they can fish. im retired so this doesnt impact me but the dnr should step in and create a public launh in this area. it would be well used
