1st try today....spot #1 got one nice Rockbass.....moved and it was pretty good but a lot of 7"ers.....had MINI flurries of 2-3 fish & then several minutes of nothing ! ?.....but stayed there for @ 2 1/2 hrs and caught at least 60....one double header of 10"ers....& one of 7"ers, lol.....one Bullhead, one Sheep, one big Bass and 3 more Rockbass ! hmmm....and saw 4 or 5 Gar Pike.....moved again & got 10 more 7" Perch....only had lucky 13 in the cooler after 4 hrs, but all nice fish....hit a 4th spot but nothing but Silverbass.....Perch were in 4' and 5'.....all Kings side....
Hit our Smallmouth spot on a move and saw ton's of Turtles.....thought it was a good sign, but did not hook one Smallmouth.....
It was a beautiful calm morn on the river!.....Bottomline gave me a ton of good minnows....of which I gave probably 4 doz left overs to some shore Silverbass fishermen.....
Had a little problem with algae bloom at times too & WT was around 60 degrees.....enjoy the water all....
