Im going steelhead fishing up in manistee by the tippy dam soon. Never fished for anything besides pike, walleye, bluegill, and bass using basic poles and lures. I recently bought a pair of fishing waders, 15 pound line and a new rod made for salmon/steelhead fishing. I am a relatively new fisherman, and my friend im taking up has only fished once. We have no idea what we need for hooks, bait (though i do believe fish eggs is most recommended) or anything like that. Any tips or any kind of...1st time steelhead fishing
