I have often thought of try a BTR, and had a friend loan me one. I went to do some blank bailing with typical results , one punch in the mouth arrows on the floor one over the target, and of course a few that simply would not go. So I went to the shop, and ask for a tutorial on shooting it, This helped me a lot, I was told to twist my hand inward while pulling back to keep it from going off, and actually got off a half dozen good shots. Go back the next day to blank bail. still afraid of punching myself in the mouth so think I am drawing back in an odd way ( wrist curved in). After 35 shots, my elbow is just screaming in pain, Today, picking up a cup of coffee hurts. I think I am pulling this back with my elbow , not my shoulders. I must admit, with my good shots, I push and pull a lot better, and release is total surprise, but I can't do the pain part. With a regular trigger release, I pull back with my hand fully relaxed, I cannot pull back the same way with my wrist curved in. I am going to have my coach look at this today, ( if I can pull it back), but I may just give it back and forget it
