If you have a good light, you can catch some pretty good specks at night. And, there has been a walleye or two caught at night as well. I have a crappie light. It is a 12 volt headlight incased in Styrofoam. It fits nicely over a ten inch hole. When you turn it on, the crappie come running, or swimming that is!
