Help with info on shanty stove

Hey guys. I picked this stove up for next to nothing , but cannot find any information on them. It is made by the united states stove company. I have contacted them and a guy that worked there knew what it was , but they have no books or information on them anymore. I feel it is missing a piece to keep the door closed, but I am not sure. Any help would be awesome. Thanks
