Have a 5 yr. old gsp. Broke through fencing chasing red squirrel , so I went looking for him, found my beloved dog in a 8 inch trap. Now I do not have any issues with trapping but when a trap in set on the ground where pets and kids are, then problems will happen. My heart is broken, not just a hunting dog but a very loved family member. Sportsman please watch your pets as this is becoming more common than you think. By the way this guy has no background in trapping or the proper way to set a trap. D.N.R. is looking in to charges. Thanks for listening.
