Well, out of the box I was not impressed with the bolt action (extremely tight) and was shooting about 2-3" groups at 100 yds. I contacted Ruger and their tech service was awesome. Sent me a prepaid shipping slip to return it to them. Took a couple of weeks but gun was returned and cycling the action was much better. Mounted the scope and off to the range I went. Groups are consistently less than 1" at 100 yds. Below are several photos at 100 yds right after the action work was done....My new Ruger M77 17WSM
