spring Coho off the pier?

Thanks to YouTube,I have a new item on the list of"Damn I have try it"..and that us fish Coho off the piers..but not sure when to start and what pier has the best chance..YouTube was manistee pier but not sure when to start looking..can any of you chime in and give a lil help on that?? Thanks
