Manistee Salmon fishing 6-6-15

Fished manistee trolled just out side the break wall in a big circle and we were catch salmon the people on the break wall were doing good netting alewifes for bait and still fishing them off the break wall they were doing good to for salmon. We fished 20-30 fow getting them on spoons with lead core three color and slide divers.But them darn salmon were like slapping at the lure we went about 5 for 18 and lost a few to. There were some boats that got a few browns to trolling like that in the morning but we didn't get out till 9:00 am fished till 2:00 pm and went back again at 5:30pm till 9:30pm the fish we got were 19-24 inches but we had a friend who was out fishing the wall out there they did well out there on dark spoons on lead core and meat riggs and got some real good size salmon . Its a good time to go to manistee
