Huron Oh

For the guys that haven't been there....It might be a good idea to bring 2 ounce snap weights. The water depth North of the Dumping Grounds (Huron) is 40 - 43 foot deep. On my recent "first time" fishing out of Huron, I had to improvise and "piggy back" two 1 ounce weights, or just snap two 1 oz weights on. With the majority of my walleye trolling being on Saginaw Bay, the biggest snap weights I had were 1 1/2 ounce.
We did start to mark some fish higher up in the water column (20 - 25 ft), so we moved a few lines up, BUT those were smaller fish.
Run your lures around 35 feet deep +/- for the BIG ones.
