Took Michigal to the PM this week. Fished last light Mon and all day Tues. There are fishable numbers of salmon in the river right now but they are spooky and on the move. We saw a fair amount of fish hole hopping up stream Tues am. The fish we saw were not holding in pools but moving upriver fast. They had no interest in cranks or spinners or spoons. In 2 trips I still have no spawn to try float fishing. We saw about 15 hens on redds along with 2 to 3 males courting each hen. With good rain in the forcast thurs and fri I believe that the weekend of the 11th and 12th MAY see good fishing for the entire NW part of the state. Good luck!

The message often appears right through the middle of the picture or at the bottom. I am thinking I have a setting enabled on my machine that shouldn't be?

This fatty was taken on my property in Sanilac County by my pal this morning @ 8:30 AM. I'm downstate here waiting to go to the dentist with a cracked filling.

License question....

Morning all,



So I went to buy my e-license for a combo archery tag this morning, and bought it but i have a few concerns.



The PDF they gave me to print only has one actual license looking slip. Shouldnt there be one for APR and non restricted? this one just says



"000001 130........ Deer Combo........ $40.00"



It was the only available deer tag, and it does not specify archery. Nor are there two tags to strap to potential kills. Can anyone help clear this up?
