Graph Mounts

Looking at buying either the Cisco or the TH Marine mount- both are comparable on price but has anyone have any experience with the TH Marine mount? I do like the design being it is more versatile with adjusting where as the Cisco has less. Both are made of Aircraft Aluminum. Any comments would be appreciated.

Cisco is on the left/ TH Marine on right.

EHD underestimated

Spoke to a friend of a Grass Lake farmer yesterday and he said he pulled over 30 deer carcasses from his farm pond in Sept. The DNR has no clue how many deer died of EHD this past year. Don't get me wrong I'm not knocking the DNR just passing on info.

Cutting oaks

I've got a forester scheduled to visit my 40 this weekend. I would like to have the property logged to open up the canopy and thicken things up, it is way too open right now. The majority of the big trees that I have are oaks, both red and white. I don't have a count yet on how many oaks I have, but 75 is just a guess. Should I allow any oaks to be cut as long as they are not crowding each other? It would seem to me that I should leave the big oaks and cut most everything else. But if I don't allow any oaks to be cut, there may not be enough timber value from the other species for any logging company to even bother with.

Snowmobile trailer wiring

I have a 2013 chevy Silverado and a late 90's/early 2000's R&R covered snowmobile trailer. The trailer has a 7-way harness/plug. On our previous vehicle the 7-way plug was virtually next to the hitch receiver so plugging in was not an issue. Well now on my Silverado, Chevy has moved the plug up on to the bumper more, and I can no longer plug in the darn trailer. I probably need at least 6-8" more to be able to plug it in and be able to turn. I have looked around and cannot seem to find a simple connector with 7 way plugs on both ends. Just the 7 to 4. I did find an 8 foot cable for bigger trailers over the bed, and it turns the running lights on, but the brakes and turn signals do not work? I really don't want to re-wire the trailer. I am supposed to pick up a new snowmobile this weekend and it will be tough without my trailer! Anyone have this problem, any ideas, recommendations. I know next to nothing about electrical/wiring.

Thanks

Hole size in a two man flip-style

Guys I plan to try with a buddy in my two-man flip. Anyone who spears out of a portable like this recommend a hole size please? I do have a new Dream saw so should be able to cut a rectangular hole. Thanks.
