Headed over to jig the Marine City area tonight. Thinking of hitting the water around 5. New to jigging this part of the SCR area so any general advice as to where to start would be appreciated.

We just had some flights come in. I saw quite a few in the spotlight tonight while running a deer survey for the DNR.



It's real wet. 4-1/4" of rain in the last couple of days.

Dog Stinkhorn

These were in my yard today. Near the stump of spruce tree that I cut down a couple of years ago. Stinky.....smells like dog poop. The smell attracts flies according to the book who then help spread the spores.

Pretty red in color at the top.
