Best Bait caster for Casting Distance

I have Abu Garcia musky reels that the line guide stays engaged on the cast & that helps give you longer casts. I'm not sure if their bass size bait casters have an engaged or disengaged line guide. There are Daiwa reels that have the "T" bar line guide that helps get more distance as well.

The type of rod you use will also play a part in casting distance. A medium power rod with an extra fast action would be best for spinner baits & distance. Also a rod that has micro guides will also give you better distance. I bought a Lew's casting rod last year w/micro guides & I definitely noticed an increase in casting distance using a Quantum Energy reel.
