Brand New Ranger 621... what Electronics?

Having run most of the major brands at one time or another in my career, I have settled on Humminbird for my personal use. Every year the technology changes, sometimes for the better, sometimes not. Shallow versus deep water use will give you different choices.

Just envision what your PRIMARY use is going to be for, and make your choice accordingly. Keep in mind, bigger screens require more robust mounting systems. Cisco makes a very stout system.

As for the trolling motor....again look at you main use for the boat, but if you ever plan to dunk her in the Salt.....go with a Saltwater model right from the start! I am currently running the Motorguide Xi5 Saltwater 36V with GPS.......amazing motor!
