Friendly Towing Reminder

Just a reminder that as boating season nears (already here for the most part) now is the time to renew or pay for an on water towing plan.

Although many of us have come to the aid of other boaters when they have mechanical issues, it is nice piece of mind to know that you can pay for insurance to cover your towing needs on the water. After Ralph had his issue a couple of years ago and needed to call for a tow, it reminded me to get my coverage.

I've carried rider coverages for years on my boats. Boat USA is $72.00 a year for unlimited freshwater towing. That includes any boat you own, operate, or are on board when an issue on the water happens. A simple call on the radio or a cell phone and the boys will be dispatched to your location.
