I have two of the inflatable vests from Cabelas- $99, which are comfortable and light. Surprisingly, I was cleaning the boat Saturday, & getting ready for fishing on Sunday, so I aired out the compartments & placed several items in the sun to dry/air them out as well. After about an hour, I heard a slight hissing sound then "POP", one of the vests inflated on it's own! I would say don't let them sit in direct sunlight...but then again what might happen while you're wearing it? Is this a common issue? Anyone else ever had this happen?
