Lake St. Helen ice?

I never totally trust the bait shops. I've never heard them say that conditions are bad and the fish are not biting.

There was 14 inches of ice on that lake when I fished it before the warm weather and rain came in. I can't believe there's anyway there is still 14 inches of ice.
