Patterning turkey loads, RESULTS THREAD

I encourage everyone to post your patterning results on this thread as well.

This was my patterning board for today. I measured out 20 yards and 40 yards.
I patterned all loads using a Remington Versa Max with a Carlson Long Beard XR ported choke tube
.665 restriction. 28" barrel.
Let me start by saying all 4 loads were very deadly at 20 yards.

Remington Nitro 3" 1-7/8oz #5 shot @ 40 yards. Had 62 pellets in a 10" circle @ 40 yards

Federal Premium 3rd Degree 3" 1-3/4oz #5,6,7 shot
Had 117 pellets in a 10" circle @ 40 yards

Winchester Long Beard XR 3" 1-3/4oz #5 shot
Had 168 pellets in a 10" circle @ 40 yards

Hevi Shot HEVI-13 3" 2oz #6 shot
Had 215 pellets in a 10" circle @ 40 yards

This was my first time patterning turkey loads at 40 yards. 3 of the 4 loads will definitely kill a turkey. My problem is with the beads I can't kill a turkey lol. My accuracy at 40 yards was crap compared to 20 yards. Definitely something to think about. I really liked the HEVI shot. Gave me great numbers. The Winchester Long Beard definitely made tight patterns. Only the size of my fist at 20 yards. I really like the Federal pattern at 20 yards. I'll post the 20 yards pics. I also have the results from my buddy Andy that I'll post.
