Sea Nymph 14R 20hp 4 Stroke

A few weeks ago I seen an older ( 1980s I think) Lund aluminum boat on Craigslist for $800. It was boat ONLY....no motor, no trailer, JUST the boat. Even though it was just a basic boat only, it looked very solid, and the seller said it did not leak. It got me thinking about the possibility of rigging it up for a river jigging boat.
Then I got to doing the math on what things would cost for:

-outboard motor
-trolling motor
-trailer
-electronics
-batteries
-carpet, accessories, maybe a seat or two

Even when I figured 2nd hand "budget" equipment, I was STILL coming up with a total investment of about $4000, and it would be NOWHERE NEAR AS NICE as the boat listed in this ad, and it would not have nearly as many "options/accessories".

I don't know Pitts101, and he doesn't need my help selling his rig...but I just thought I would throw this out there as perspective on the price. When you think about what it would take to put together a 30 year old rig, compared to his "Like New" rig, there is no comparison.
