I traded a higher dollar beat up savage .223 for a clean nice looking (in my mind) .243 h and r. I know people that have .223s and 22-250s and love them. I hunt and am not a paper puncher after a gun is dialed. I hated how heavy the savage was and the poor condition from abuse over the years and lack of recent use was why I traded and I was dead set on getting rid of the savage.
