U.P morels

I was just hoping if someone could tell me when normally is the best time of year to find morels in the U.P. I understand every year is different but my wife and I will be on vacation may 30 till June 6 in the munising area. Where I mushroom hunt it's over by then. any tips on what to look for there would also be appreciated. Elm/ash tress? mostly blacks/whites/yellows/grays ? Thank you for any information.
