I have been tentatively planning a Saturday trip for steel in an unmentionable.
It looks like a serious cold snap is in store. I have fished spring steelhead for years, but have not done much with winter fish.
My question is, what tactics have you found to be best under these circumstances? My thinking is to target deeper holes in the system and use a bobber with Spawn, beads or wax worms. Does this sound like a good idea?
