Au Sable next week

Heading up next week for family vacay and I've got one day to fish. I'm familiar with Grayling to McMasters but I was thinking of trying below Mio. Specifically wondering about the stretch from McKinley down to the next pond. Is it fishable with waders? Is there much private land to worry about? Is it even worth fishing? I don't need anyones honey hole, more just curious about fishability. P.M.'s are appreciated. Thanks in advance!
