This may be the single biggest debate with guys. Some starters imo: sunline ff2, 16lb, suffix siege 12 lb, cxx 12 lb, also hear a lot of great stuff about promix. Cycle thru them, once you find one you are happy with stick with it. For me and great lakes steel personally it's 16 ff2, to 12 drennan shot line, to either 5, 6, or 8 drennan leader.
