DNR Ramp on Jefferson near Crocker

And the year before and the year before and the year before.....

I went out several times in September/October '15 with a buddy who likes to use that ramp. There was a build-up of weeds, sticks dead fish and pieces of plastic and paper then. That plastic and paper does not get into the water on its own but I don't see much being said about humans littering.

Before that DNR ramp was built I would occasionally use the ramp that the private marina located there had. It did not matter what month of the open water season it was, there was a build-up of weeds and sticks. Back then less plastic and paper would be found.

Took a drive over to the lake this morning just to see what if anything is going on. This launch ramp is a total mess......gonna take some work to get it cleaned up....I remember when this place was Admiral Marina....it was a dump.....but I don't remember ever encountering all the debris that it seems to collect now.....guys were having problems last fall at this spot....I'm going to skip LSC again this year and concentrate my efforts at SSP or Bolles.
