I agree with removing dams, and creating spawning habitat.
From my understanding regarding this issue is, the effect on a couple years/runs of steelhead and the effect on fishermen,
versus,
restoration of sturgeon and possibly a sturgeon fishery for current and future generations.
Steelhead are widely available, So I have to side with restoration of sturgeon fishing, an opportunity that hasn't existed in our lifetime.
That should outweigh a couple years of reduced steelhead fishing in one river
