QDMA Banquet - My experience

Hang in there Walt, it's all part of the process! Banquets pay the bills and provide a great opportunity for likeminded individuals to gather once a year for food, fun, a chance at winning!
I have had the "pleasure" of attending and helping organize several QDMA banquets and I can attest to the fact that "Live" auctions suck the life out of a room. It's a rare individual that can hold a room during a live auction when only about 10% in attendance are actually interested. I've witnessed just such individuals, but they are few and far between.

Well, the Wife and I went to our first QDMA banquet this past weekend. To be honest, I had high hopes heading into it, but found out it just wasn't my cup of tea.
