Made it to the northern lower sunday. I did some scouting and moved a few, took the dogs out with a camera on monday and moved three single grouse. The dogs did well on them. Tuesday morning my buddy suggested a spot so I tried it. Could not believe all the woodcock. My dogs easily pointed 4 dozen of them. It actually got a little frustrating. I couldn't make any forward progress. The dogs would be on point right, left and behind me. The game plan was to work my way through a popple thicket...
