A couple weeks ago, I broke the tip off my favorite spinning rod - a Shimano Compre. I sent it in the Friday before Memorial Day (literally got on the last truck out of the day), so I imagine it took until Tuesday/ Wednesday for UPS to even think about moving it out of state.
Yesterday afternoon, a brand new rod was waiting for me at my door when I got home - that's pretty quick! The new rod is a little different (black foam grips rather than cork, a little longer, a little slower), but I suppose they've changed that line in the past couple years. This was not my first positive experience with Shimano customer service.
I know not everybody is a big fan of Shimano products, but in my opinion, their customer service is top notch!
