out of state boats

I am trying to find out information on requirements for towing my boat in Michigan.

My residence, Tennesse does not require a license plate for boat trailers.

I want to bring my boat up but I don't want to get a ticket for no license plate.

If this is not the right forum for my question I apologize, this is my first attempt on this site.
