Last outdoor project before the Salmon run..Time to clean up the eyesore of a tank in the back yard.
My dealer says he will pick up and powder coat paint our tank next spring when it's near empty and weather won't be too cold...it is full to capacity right now.
What's a good cleaner/method, for an arthritic old fuddy duddy to use?
Don't care to get into muscling around the power washers and sanders etc
Saving that energy for fishin'...
Sittin' in the lawn chair with a hose and bucket will do just fine.
I've got a couple long handled stiff brushes, halfway up it's covered with something like barnacles. I can probably get it done in 3-4 sections over a few days. It's a matte chalky finish so I'm guessing half a dozen cans of outdoor enamel from the $2 surplus store should adhere and hold up over the winter.
