So I'm just sitting here patiently awaiting teal season and I can't not worry that it might be storming all opening day long. The weather shows lightning and thunder and 80% chance of rain for like 5 days in a row. Now I know it's still a week away and the weather here in michigan changes more often than I change my underwear. So almost daily. Well it makes me think that I don't feel to good about cruising around in an aluminum boat while it's storming. I don't recall ever calling off a trip in the past due to lightning and thunder. But then again, I have never hunted teal the first week of September either. With this being said, I do have a few backup goose fields. Is anyone else using this tactic? Or am I just paranoid, and a little lightning has never hurt anybody? Haha
first day of teal season could be a soggy one.
