New guy

Well i have decided after many years of thinking about it i am going to do it this year. I would like to trap coons on my property is the branch Calhoun kzoo corner. I have seen them both alive and dead out there but i figured it would be a good place to start? I have a few 220 body traps and ordered a couple of small jaw traps. Any tips or advice? I live in the metro Detroit area and am in coldwater quite a bit because i have family and land there, and am up in Gaylord aera from time to time at the cabin so if anyone wants to show a new guy some tips?
