Recommend English Setter Breeder

I have spent time in the field with trained flushing and pointing dogs, hunting both woodcock and grouse. My husband has hunted quail and pheasant (from the south). We are looking to add a bird dog to our family. I'm thinking an English Pointer, we need a dog with natural instincts but also a family friend. We have 3 boys and property, so we believe it is time to get them onto some birds. We have zero experience training a bird dog, but we are both ready and willing to put the time and effort in.



Can you share if you've had a good experience with a local breeder? Or someone who can help with proper training?
