autopilot

thinking to do couple of things to my 24 foot cuddy cabin for trolling:

1. 15 hp outboard mounted on a bracket on swimming platform.
2. add an autopilot to mercruiser cable steering with hydraulic assist.

has anyone done any of these? is 15 hp enough for 3 mph. what kind of autopilot? thanks

autopilot
