Please take a look at this and please give some input. After I put it together it looked like this so I loosened the couplers and aligned the engine to get less than .003 between surfaces. There wasn't much change so I took out the bolts and spun the coupler 180 degrees to see if maybe the shaft was bent with no visible difference when running. What I didn't do was loosen the shaft coupler set screws to make sure the two surfaces were not so close that they were giving me a false reading (they were pretty much touching). Any opinions? I'm guessing the shaft might be bent. Very low RPM is being shown.
Dripless shaft seal, this can't be right?
