Almont MI, on an orchard. Two hen decoys, set before dawn in front of a fruit tree, called with purrs and cuts intermittently and sparingly. Two hens came in first from the left, they pecked and fed. Big old tom followed about 30 minutes later minutes later cam from same side. Sun was rising, landscape was beautiful. I used those nice tru glo sights, with full xx choke on my Mossberg 500, squeezed slowly and dropped him fat 8:35am , 35 yds out. Twenty pound, 1 1/2 inch spurs , 9 inch beard. What a great day
