Mowing Strategy Question

I finally got my small food plot planted this weekend. It is a mixture of various clovers, oats, rye, chicory and another grain that I can't remember name of, tetra something. I assume I should be mowing this to hold off the seeding and mostly to have some fresh tender growth ready for bow season?

What would your mowing strategy be? In example, mow every time it hits 8inches? It is early for rye and oats it seems and I want to try and take best advantage of fall crops for bow season. Any advice appreciated.
