5/23 Scouted several places in LSC looking for Walleye with none found.
Launch: Harley Ensign at 7AM. Retrieved boat at 12:30 PM.
‘From the lake, I used the Baltimore Hwy (first time) to get to the Chenal A Bout Rond (Sni). Marked none, but tried jigging east of Strawberry Island anyway. ‘Caught a 2” Gobbie. ‘Crossed the lake to L’Anse Creuse Bay where I trolled a while. I caught the largest Muskie ever. It hit my blueberry muffin DLR and took out 95 ft of line before I could get him stopped. My scale only goes to 16 lbs and it maxed out when I still had about a foot of that monster in the water. No- I didn’t measure it. I didn’t want to get the slime in my boat. It punched a hole in my DLR and it got water inside – now it won’t work. Also caught SMB, but no walleye.
