TidalForce M-750 Electric Folding Bicycle using a Montague Paratrooper Pro frame & components
Considered by many electric bike experts to be the best electric bicycles ever made.
Used Condition: Bike operates, but has battery and minor issues as described below.
Battery: Battery A is located in the front wheel and is composed of Nimh cells. The Nimh battery still holds a charge, but only enough to propel the bike about 3-4 miles before it slows. The battery is original to the bike, so the nimh cells would need to be replaced to achieve the 20 mile range that it had when new. Battery B was a lithium ion battery that no longer held a charge and is not included. I have saved the the cables and the charge controller on that battery and they will be included so a new 36v battery can be added. The bike only requires one battery or the other to operate and has controls to switch between the two when desired. With the right lifepo4 battery this bike would have a 50 mile plus range! Chargers are included as shown.
Does it run? Yes! I test drove this bike just over 3 miles. The bike will need a good cleaning, some light adjustments to the brakes and derailleurs and I noticed 2 cables that could use replacement (They do work as is).
Why am I selling it? I just purchased this bike last Fall when I was looking for a folding bicycle, but I do not need an electric one. I will be using the funds from this sale to purchase a non electric Montague Paratrooper Pro.
Rust: There are some areas of rust on the bicycle, but they are not on the frame. The frame is aluminum and won't rust. The Allen bolts have some rust along with some other small spots (Look at the pictures).
