Alternatives to Charter spectrum cable

We did too. The one plus side was they seemed to have a great On Demand service. The downside was the lost signal in rain or heavy snow. I would call them and remind them that I was supposed to stay tuned to local stations to be prepared in case of a tornado and could they tell me how to do that if the signal was lost.

One day I called them and told them I was tired of the lost signal and going back to Comcast. I had called about a service problem more times in 18 months on DirecTV than in 25 years with Comcast. I was going to quit in 10 days and pay the penalty. 10 days later Comcast was hooked up and I called DirecTV and they had the gall to tell me that they had fixed the lost signal in the rain problem. I asked if that it must have happened in the past 15 minutes since they had me on record complaining about that problem and they never called me to tell me it was fixed.
