Ok here's what happened in a nut shell.Water was 37.5 to 39.3 on the us side way to dirty to even try on the Canadian side.Made a pass by Mudd island no bites went over to two rocks(80 inch mill) Water was warm there made a pass no bites.Got pulled over by the coast guard and it took them just over two hours of investigation work to let us go with a warning for my wife not having a hard copy of her drivers license.I guess it's a gray area now if your on the Detroit river you have to have your drivers license.A photo of your license isn't ok but all in all both the coast guard and boarder patrol were cool.Happy to know they want to make sure everyone is safe and proper out there.The real good news is that there is a ton of shad out there and them eyes will be eating good when they get here.
Remember true copy of identification only and they will be pulling as many boats as they can over before the rush.
