What are your rates for a mount? I have been contemplating mounting my first deer ever from back in '91. When I mounted it, I really didn't have any idea of what I had killed, so I cut the skull with the "V" cut and mounted it on a typical Meijers horn mount plaque. Is it possible to put this on a maniquin and use the pelt from a different deer? (say like one I shoot next season) I have good pictures of it for reproduction purposes if they are needed.
I did the scoring on it as directed by the CBM measurer in SW MI. I don't remember exactly, but it is a typical 8 point - 124 gross with only 1 point of deduction. It may be + or - a point or so due to my measuring errors...but looks like it just missed the books! (125 minimum, right?)
