Yesterday's 5/7 not much to report by time I got out did 2 drifts picked up 2 and lost 1 at boat going solo , buddies texted and warned me of a storm moving in so I skated out off the water. Ended up messing us down here but alot better safe than sry
Had real late start tonight 5/8 finally got on first drift and started hitting fish right away at about 645pm. Was pretty steady for a hour or so than once sun started dropping they shut off I'm guessing was a great mid day bite today. Quite a bit of boat traffic and some aholes buzzing through the middle of guys on a drift, a dad with his younger son in boat almost got swamped. 2 of us ended 1 shy of our limit chartruse jig brown worm and stinger was very helpful. 15-16 fow produced most of the fish , absolute beautiful evening on the water.
